“What is it you do at Prevail, and how much experience do you have at it?”
I am Manager of Clinical Data Management at Prevail InfoWorks. I have been in a lead data management role for over five years. From a clinical background, with over fifteen years of experience in clinical research, I have built on each of the clinical trial steppingstones from start-up through study completion. At Prevail, providing leadership and training in developing best practices for data management activities and data management oversight, and to meet the quality standards for deliverables and regulatory requirements. I am a functional lead, database designer, trainer, managing several data management projects and data management teams for trials in different therapeutic areas and working with multiple clients. I am focused on outcomes and cross-functional cooperation. I truly appreciate working with driven professionals and supporting the development of new therapies.
“From your experience, what matters most to the clients you’ve worked with?”
In my experience, for many clients I worked with, what matters most is the quality of work. We believe that every effort needs to be made to ensure the quality of work is the implicit overarching standard for daily activities, positive communication, set deliveries and overall work ethics.
“What do you and the rest of the Prevail team do to address that?”
Teamwork! Taking the time to best communicate with everyone on the team(s) and support the network and sharing the expertise of each team player, while working together to accomplish the shared goal. As a team, we develop solutions tailored to the specific study need, communicate well with the external teams and internally, and follow the necessary steps to ensure the quality outcomes and key deliverables are met. I find it most important that we periodically reassess progress, implement changes if needed, and strategize through timelines. I am committed to collaboration, focusing on quality metrics and continuous improvement!
